Wine Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Cuvee "Cardinalice", Chateau Gigognan 2007
The wine is dark cherry color with garnet highlights.
Dense, deep and elegant taste of the wine is filled with soft tannins, notes of blackberry, plum and hints of licorice and coffee, which are in harmony with the well-defined mineral intonations.
Gorgeous, complex flavor of the wine is characterized by notes of rose and red fruits, hints of raspberries and figs.
The wine is perfect to truffles, as well as dishes with sauce, red meat, poultry and Provencal cheese.
Wine "Cardinalice", Chateauneuf-du-Pape, 2007 is made from Grenache grapes from vineyards growing on gravel terraces in the region of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The average age of the vines is 67 years. The wine is aged 24 months in oak barrels and spilled a small party in the 6000 bottles. It can be drunk now or postpone until 2027.
