The vineyards are located in the region Tenarez, dominated by sandy-clayey soil with limestone. In this area, as a rule, low rainfall in the warm season, so that the grapes get the necessary amount of solar heat. After harvesting and thorough analysis, vinification is carried out in the traditional way without the use of sulfites. Then the resulting wine materials are distilled. To do this, use traditional alambiki, which are continuously heated on a wood-burning stove. Armagnac kept in barrels of black Gascon oak.

Domaine de Pellehaut has existed for more than four centuries. Since 1950, Gaston Berow took over the management of the company. The vineyards are located at the highest point of the territory belonging to the family Berow - about 180 meters above sea level. It is dominated by sandy-clay soils with limestone impurities. The territory of the farm, located in a lowland, is reserved for cattle breeding and grain cultivation. It is important that for the fertilizer of the vineyards on the farm they use only compost after their own cows.
Now the management of the company has passed into the hands of the sons of Gaston, Martin and Matthew Berow.
