The taste of wine is harmonious, balanced, with light notes of spices.
Surprisingly outdoor aroma of the wine combines mineral notes with hints of dried flowers and almonds.

Interesting Facts
"Chateau de Gourgues Bordeaux AOC" - blended wine created from a mixture of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Vinification: grapes were cold maceration for 10 days, after which wanders at a controlled temperature 20-25S. Aging wine partly in vats and partly in oak barrels for 12 months. Ageing potential fault is large enough - up to 8 years.
Half a century ago, the family Gourgues acquired in Bordeaux a few acres of land. Currently owned Chateau de GURGEN 25.5 hectares. Part - 4.5 hectares - is located in the Entre Deux Mers AOC, where the grapes are grown for the white wines. Red varieties are grown in the vineyard area of 21 hectares, located in Bordeaux AOC on clay-limestone rocky soils. Here are grown 70% Merlot Noir, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec. Chateau de GURGEN produces 47,000 bottles of red wine a year and 7,000 bottles of white and pink.
