Wine slightly iridescent ruby color.
The wine has a concentrated flavor of sweet fruit with ripe tannins and good length.

Producer's description
The history of Château Pontet Canet dates back to the 18th century, its founder is the royal governor of the Medoc, Jean-Francois de Pont. Many years later, the governor's descendants expanded their holdings by acquiring vineyards in Caen. A hundred years later, Ponte Cane was included in the well-known classification of 1855, thus confirming its belonging to the Medoc elite. Such a high position did not go unnoticed, and in 1865 Herman Cruz (one of the most important shippers of Bordeaux) buys Ponte Canet, builds new cellars, improves winemaking facilities and ensures recognition and reputation of this wine throughout the world. In 1975 Chateau acquires Guy Tesseron. Today it is managed and owned by Alfred Tesseron and his niece Melanie.
