Petit Village, which translated from French means "little village" - a vineyard, the outlines of which have the form of an equilateral triangle area of 11 hectares. The vines in the town of Petit Vilyazh grew from the beginning of the 18th century, although at that time the owner of the estate did not try to elevate them. In 1919, the family Feranda Ginestas, which became their owners, to seriously address the wine, and in 1970, after the severe frosts that destroyed most of the vineyards, a new milestone in their development. Under the guidance of an experienced oenologist Bruno Prastio were planted new vines, the winery installed stainless steel vats and to improve the quality of wine began to be used the most modern technology. Today harvest Petit Vilyazh collected only manually, carefully sorted and transported to the winery in small 30-kg baskets that allows you to keep the berries intact as much as possible.
