Chateau Merle is one of the 15 castles belonging to the house wine Cordier, which was founded in 1886 and today is one of the largest producers of top quality wines in Bordeaux. Merle Chateau is located in the Entre Deux Mers Soulignac, in the center of Bordeaux, in the prestigious wineries lands. Chateau owns 20 hectares of vineyards, which grow varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Chateau Merle - a family business, today it is managed by the fourth generation of the family.
A distinctive feature vintage Cordier is the observance of a balance between traditional and innovative methods of winemaking. Much attention is paid to improving the quality of the wine through scientific research conducted in conjunction with the Institute of oenological Bordeaux.
