Chateau Davio - a small, cozy property that adjacent to a land occupies 50 acres in the prestigious Bordeaux region. Vineyards farms are located on the sunny slopes of the valley of the Garonne River, the proximity of which moderates the climate and creates ideal conditions for growing grapes. Soils are mainly represented by the chateau clay, limestone and shale, making wine Davio have a delicate and elegant bouquet.
For the past 4 generations Chateau Davio owned by the same family that adheres to the principles of traditional winemaking, but successfully synthesizes them with modern technology.
Chateau Davio 2008 - one of the main wine chateau, which is created from three classic Bordeaux grape varieties - Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This composition gives the wine a strong tannic basis, as well as a complex, well-balanced taste. Vinification of each variety is carried out separately, fermented wine in concrete containers at a temperature of 30 C. In these tanks wine is aged for 10 months before blended in a specific ratio and bottled.
