Interesting Facts

Chateau Clerc Milon territory located near the small village of Milo, in the north-western part of the commune of Pauillac and directly adjacent to such famous wineries in Bordeaux as Château Lafite and Château Mouton Rothschild. The history of the estate clerk, Milo goes back to the beginning of the 19th century, when a small vineyard of Jean-Baptiste Clerk to be inherited from one owner to another and gradually fell into decay completely. In 1970 Philippe de Rothschild Chateau Clerc Milon acquired and began a significant modernization. At present, the farm completely renovated and technically equipped, which explains the increasing popularity of its wines in his native France, as well as in many other countries around the world. Produced wine farm of the same name refers to the fifth Grand Cru Classé.

On the wine label Chateau Clerc Milon depicted dancing clowns, studded with precious stones - a copy of the work of German goldsmiths of the 16th century, which can be seen in the museum Chateau Mouton Rothschild "Wine in Art".
