Chateau Grand Bert, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru AOC is an exquisite dry red wine made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes grown in Saint-Emilion appellation. Chateau Grand Ber is located south of Saint-Émilion in the foothills of Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleiren. The soil of the vineyards is sandy and gravel. The crop is harvested by hand, the berries are carefully sorted and sent to the winery. Maceration lasts 72 hours at low temperature to obtain rich color and flesh. Alcohol fementation is carried out within a month. The wine is aged 18 months in new barriques (80%) and cement tanks (10%). The remaining 10% of the wine is aged in old barriques throughout the year. Wine perfectly complement the meat dishes with sauce, game and cheeses.

Bertrand Bourdil, born in the Bergerac region, where his parents owned a 13-hectare winery, learned to work with grapes and wine, respecting tradition and nature. After graduation, he worked for many years as an oenologist at the famous Château Mouton Rothschild. Bertrand then held a position in the sales department at Baron Philippe de Rothschild for 3 years, promoting wines for export.
In 2005, Bertrand Bourdil realized his lifelong dream and acquired the Cherubin vineyard, located on the southwestern side of the Saint-Emilion hill, near the Château Angelus vineyard. Together with his wife, Magali, Bertrand produces wines of exceptional character.
