Wine Charles Thomas Chambolle Musigny AOC 2007 is made from Pinot Noir from vineyards located in the area of Chambolle-Musigny in the Côte de Nuits. The word comes from Chambolle mixture of two Gallic words Campus Bellenos, which means "field of Apollo." The name of the village Musigny (derived from the word "Romans") was added to the name of the commune Chambolle in the XIX century during the reign of Napoleon III.
