Tasting Notes


Wine sparkling ruby-garnet color.


The taste of the wine is full and rich, elegant and velvety, with nice acidity and ripe tannins. The finish is long and expressive, with floral and berry nuances.


In a complex and bright bouquet of the wine is clearly noticeable aromas of black currant, plum, floral shades, tart notes of truffle and tobacco.


Wine is the perfect accompaniment to meat dishes, including meat, cooked on the grill, roast venison.

Dry red wine Barolo, 2010 is made ​​from Nebbiolo grapes in classical techniques. After completion of malolactic fermentation wine is aged for 12 months in 300 liter French oak barrels, 50% of which are new, and then another 12 months - in barrels smaller volume. Previous vintages of this wine came out with the name Barolo "Zonchera" . However, it was decided to change the label and leave only one name - Barolo, as a tribute to a long tradition, where Barolo and Barbaresco wines were leading in winemaking Ceretto family.

Ceretto Wine House is one of the most famous in Piedmont. Ceretto family began to engage in winemaking in the 30s of the 20th century, when Ricardo Ceretto moved to Alba.
