Castello di Bossi, Chianti Classico is a red dry wine made from Sangiovese grape variety. Vineyards are located on clay soils with a high content of gravel in the Chianti Classico region at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. The average age of the vines is 18 years. Manual harvesting is carried out in September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, which is maintained at 28-30 ° C. Maceration lasts 14 days. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 6 months. Annually about 60,000 bottles are produced.
Castello di Bossi is located in the southern part of the Chianti Classico wine region. The territory of the economy extends to 650 hectares, 124 of which are planted with vineyards. Vineyards are located at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level on soils consisting of limestone, yellow clay and gravel. The main cultivated varieties of grapes are Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vines Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were planted about 40 years ago.
The first tower of the estate Castello di Bossi was built in 1099. In 1450, the estate expanded and today it is a three-storyed fortress surrounded by vineyards.

Bacci is a well-known Italian producer of high-quality wines, combining four wineries - Renieri, Tenuta di Renieri, Castello di Bossi and Terre di Talamo.
The Renieri estate, occupying 128 hectares, is located in the southern part of the Montalcino region. 30 hectares are given for vineyards, growing at an altitude of 350-420 meters above sea level on volcanic soils. The main variety of grapes grown here is Sangiovese. A special pride of the estate is rightly considered a wine cellar with an area of about 1000 square meters, built almost entirely underground.
Tenuta di Renieri is a small winery with an area of about 60 hectares, 22 of which are planted with vineyards. The farm is located in the Chianti wine region and has a common border with the Castello di Bossi estate.
