Chianti Classico Riserva elegantly produced from selected grapes grown in the area of Chianti Classico between Siena and Florence. The grapes are harvested in the second half of September. Castello Banfi winery dates back to 1978, when the successful American entrepreneurs of Italian origin and Gary John Mariani, together with the Italian enologist Ezio Rivella bought vineyards in the southern part of Tuscany.
