Tasting Notes
Wine of deep ruby color.
The wine has a nice exotic flavor with expressive fruit tones, nuances of nutmeg and pepper, a slight tinge of minerals and supple tannins.
The wine has a discreet, fresh aroma with notes of fruit, cherries, plums and licorice notes.
The wine goes well with different kinds of pasta, braised or roasted white meat, poultry and grilled fish.

Producer's description
Manor Brankayya uniting two names - Branca and Poppy, 1981 owns a couple from Switzerland - Brigitte and Bruno Widmer. Since 1983, when one of the wines received the first prize in a local competition, the production are successful. Today wine "La Brankayya" are among connoisseurs of classical, and production is based on principles such as the search for self-identity and commitment to quality.
Since 1998, the company manages their daughter Barbara and her husband Martin. Barbara, an experienced oenologist, is responsible for the production of wine and Martin led the company's management. Consultant wine is the famous Dr. Carlo Ferrini. Today Brankayya produces four wines: "Il Blue," "Chianti Classico", "Tre" and "Ilatrayya."
