Wine Bodegas El Nido, "Clio", 2013
The wine has an intense dark cherry color.
Taste wines strong, rich and dense with a long, pleasant aftertaste.
Intense bouquet of wine is filled with aromas of ripe fruit and jam, which are interwoven with hints of licorice and roasted coffee.
Excellent wine with red meat (lamb, beef) cooked with spices on the grill. It will also make a wonderful couple with jamon and cheese made from goat or sheep's milk.
Yields are several passages from the second half of September and mid-October, when the berries reach a high degree of maturity. The process of fermentation takes place in new oak barrels, then wine aged for 24 months in barrels of French and American oak. "Clio" is produced in limited numbers - no more than 40 000 bottles per year and has a large storage capacity.
