Wine Bodegas El Nido, "Clio", 2010
The wine has an intense cherry color with burgundy trim.
2-3 hours after decanting wine with soft, velvety texture will reveal a powerful, elegant, rich fruit flavor with good acidity and rounded tannins, which gradually turns into a long interesting aftertaste.
Intense bouquet of wine is filled with aromas of ripe red and black fruit, elegant notes of herbs, exotic spices, roasted coffee, cocoa, toast and liquorice.
Excellent wine with red meat (lamb, beef) cooked with spices on the grill. It will also make a wonderful couple with jamon and cheese made from goat or sheep's milk.
In 2001, the family Gil Vera and the largest importer of Spanish wines in the US Jorge Ordonez was founded Bodegas El Nido. Co-founder of the winery is also known Australian winemaker of the Barossa Valley, oenologist Chris Ringland.
