Tasting Notes


Wine beautiful ruby-garnet color.


Charming wine with soft, rounded taste, tones of cherry, black currant and black cherry, light smoky notes and hints of truffles, good balance and long finish.


Delicate, elegant aroma of the wine reveals a bright palette with notes of blackberry, ripe cherry, truffle tart and smoke.


The wine goes well with red meat, game, poultry and cheese.

Blazon d'Issan - the so-called "second wine" Chateau d'Issan economy, and although it is not as famous as the first, however, is a good example in its class. Charming wine, is flexible and refined, specific to the terroir Margot.

Chateau d'Issan (Château d'Issan) is located in the village of Kantenak, its history dates back to the XII century. Guyenne (historical province in south-west France) was occupied by Britain.
