"Biotta" Carrot - natural, organic carrot juice. Lactic acid is used to give its balance taste and delicate acidity. Carrot juice was the first drink produced by Biotte in 1957. It is made from organic carrots grown in the canton of Thurgau. Local farmers deliver the fruit to the factory in Tagervilen immediately after the harvest. Established in Switzerland in the Tagervilen in 1931 by Dr. Hugo Brandenburger, Biotta still remains true to its original goal of producing organic, high-quality and healthy drinks from fruits grown in clean from chemicals and toxins. The first industrial line of Biotte juices was published in 1957. Since then, the company has acquired 1.7 thousand acres of clean fields, suitable for organic farming. In addition, Biotta cooperates with farmers in Switzerland and around the world, selecting those that pass the appropriate certification. The name of the brand "Biotte" is created from a combination of two words - Bio and Tagervilen.
Biotte has been owned by the same family for three generations. In addition to a responsible approach to production, the owners of the company are actively engaged in restoring the natural diversity of Switzerland. In the international market, Biotta has been present for more than 60 years and is the leader in sales of functional juices and beverages in the niche. All the juices and drinks from Biotte are organic and suitable for vegan food. They passed the organic certification of USDA National Organic Program (NOP), biological control of bio.inspecta and genetic examination for the presence of GMOs in the Non-GMO Project. The basis for the success of Biotte drinks is nutritional value. To maximize it, exclusively ripe vegetables and fruits grown in the open ground are used. After the collection, they immediately go for washing and sorting. The manufacturing process takes place in a vacuum, which avoids oxidation of the product. Another know-how of Biotty is the procedure for obtaining juice. Fruits are not squeezed, as this can lead to the loss of some useful substances. Instead, the fruits are placed in a centrifuge, where the juice is extracted under the influence of gravity. The subsequent stand-up naturally separates the juice from the pulp.
