Powerful, complete and at the same time elegant, harmonious and rounded taste of wine charms with exquisite notes of black fruits, plums, hints of spices. The finish is long, decorated with soft tannins.

"The Bernard Series" - wine for demanding and very sophisticated connoisseurs. This wine, "handmade", created from the best vintages from the vineyards grown on unique soils, aged in oak barrels and collected in a gorgeous blend. It is the culmination of the terroir and aging, the result of which is noble, very distinctive and individual drinks. Wine "Bernard Siriez" is a tribute to the current owner and talented manager Bernard Podlashuku who could formulate and present the world a new course of South African wine. The range of wines "Bernard Series" includes red semi-dry wines "Small Barrel" SMV, "Bush Vine" Pinotage and "Basket Press" Syrah, as well as white wine "Old Vine" Chenin Blanc, "Hand-Picked" Viognier, "Whole Bunch "Roussanne and Grenache Blanc Voignier.
"Small Barrel" SMV - red semi-dry wine, which uses grape varieties Shiraz, Mourvedre and Viognier (SMV), assembled by hand in the vineyards of the region Agter-Paarl. Vinification is natural fermentation of all three varieties, malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels and aged for 18 months.
Paarl wine region is one of the most famous grape growing regions in South Africa. Located just 60 km inland from Cape Town, it is the home of such important and popular grape varieties like Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Shiraz. Vineyards grow on the lower slopes of Mount Paarl, on the north side of the mountain and in the valley of Simonsberg Berg River. The valley is dominated by sandy soils and higher into the mountains, the more composed of granite and slate. To survive in these conditions, the vines must fight for their existence and their roots penetrate deep into the earth to extract precious moisture. As a result, wines obtained from vineyards Paarl usually a premium. The climate is very hot and dry in the summer, with a rainy and prolonged winter. Atlantic Ocean, which is just 60 km away, has a small impact on the region as a cooling afternoon breezes. Manor Bellingham (from the African "Bellinchamp" - "charming Field") located in the valley of Franschhoek, in the foothills of the Groot Drakenstein. Founded in 1693 by the Dutchman Gerrit Janse van Vuuren, the estate has always been known for its intriguing wines with unique characteristics.
In 1943, the estate and the surrounding land has a new owner - Bernard Podlashuk, with the advent of Bellingham wines which have gained unprecedented popularity. There were lines of dry white wines-class, was released the first wine category Premiers Grands Crus, the first rose wine and the first wine from grapes of Shiraz.
