Wine beautiful deep ruby color, with bright luster of the great wines of Burgundy.
Young wine has a light and fresh taste. With age, the wine becomes more rounded with velvety texture and silky fine tannins. This wine has a rich and harmonious aftertaste.
The young wine intense and fresh aroma. Initially dominated by aromas of red berries - wild cherry, raspberry and blackberry with hints of licorice and smoked. In the more mature wines emerge aromas of pepper, tobacco, humus and underbrush.
The wine goes well with meat dishes and cheeses.

Beaune Clos des Mouches 2007 - elegant and perfectly balanced wine, with great aging potential: 5 to 40 years. The wine takes its name from the area in which it grows Pinot Noir grapes. Earlier this sun-drenched plot (clos) located apiary. "Mouches" translated from French means "fly". Bees in the local dialect called "mouches à miel" - honey flies. This is one of the first vineyards acquired by Maurice Drouhin in 20s. The soils are composed of clay and limestone. In the upper part of the vineyard soils are rocky, and in the central dominated marl and limestone. Such a structure of the earth gives the wine a great finesse. Since 1990, the company's vineyards are processed in accordance with the principles of biological and biodynamic farming.
2007 was awesome in terms of weather conditions. You could say the seasons turned upside down. The first three months of 2007 were surprisingly mild, with temperatures above normal. Spring was warmer than usual, but summer is very rainy. Grape harvest began quite early in the beginning of September, in ideal conditions: dry, windy and sunny weather, a completely clear sky. After a 2-3 week fermentation and wine vinification from 14 to 18 months aged in oak barrels.
House of Burgundy Joseph Drouhin was founded in 1880 in Bonn. Its history began with the Dukes of Burgundy wine cellars. Now Joseph Drouhin Mason property is 73 acres of land, and it is the largest economy in the region, producing 93 wines. Vineyards houses are located in various parts of Burgundy: Chablis, Côte de Beaune, Côte Shalonez, Beaujolais. Two-thirds of the vineyards are a classification of Premier and Grand Cru. Here grow the two most famous Burgundian grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
