The wine has a full, powerful, rich, deep flavor with hints of menthol, licorice and spices in a long aftertaste.

Red wine Barolo "Ginestra Vigna Casa Mate", first released in 1978, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown on a single vineyard "Casa Mate" Monforte d'Alba in the commune, in the historic area Ginestra.
