Vietti was one of the first farms, who started producing Barolo from a separate area, paying great attention to the vineyard and the quality of the raw material, which was made possible by careful work all year round: even green fee is carried out gradually, by removing clusters of berries with and without damaging the plant itself .
Nuts depicted on the label Castiglione were invented Gianni Gallo. Their strong shells warn of powerful tannins and a rigid structure of wine, which continues at a steady finish. The manufacturing process begins with Barolo Castiglione mild crushing, followed by 15 days maceration is carried out simultaneously with the fermentation, with daily remontazhem. Grapes from different vineyards vinified separately to highlight the characteristics peculiar to each terroir.
