Tasting Notes
The wine is dark purple color with a purple rim.
The wine shows a luxurious creamy texture, bright fruit flavors and a long cherry finish. The finale is soft and sweet with dominant tones of vanilla and coconut.
The bouquet of wine felt notes of cherry compote, currant and vanilla, smoky oak and spice tones.
Wine is served with stewed meat, steaks and big game.

Red wine "Altos de Luzon" is made from varieties Monastrell, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on sunny vineyards of Castillo de Madax and Finca La Solana. Sites are located at 600 and 450 meters above sea level, and their soils are composed of clay, limestone and gravel.
Harvested by hand in small plastic boxes. Vinification is conducted at a controlled temperature and lasts about 30 days. Excerpt wine, for a period of 12 months, takes place in barrels of French (55%) and American (45%) oak.

Winery Bodegas Luzon was founded in 1916 by several families who have had a long tradition of winemaking.
