Wine rich ruby red color with purple hues.
Wine with a rich, full-bodied taste and a great character. Sweet tannins, well balanced with acidity, expressed delightful wine structure, accentuated with soft wood notes, subtle fruit shades and tones of dark chocolate.
Rich and elegant aroma of the wine gradually reveals a complex bouquet, woven from the notes of red currant, cherry, raspberry, gently combine with hints of cedar, truffles and black pepper.
Thanks to its saturation content, the wine perfectly suited to the complex, heavy meals. Combined with hot meat dishes from beef or lamb obtained excellent duo.
Interesting Facts
"Altair" - the most expensive wine in Chile. The grapes for its production is hand-assembled exclusively in the early times of the day, after which there is a rigorous selection of fruit size and quality, and then the grapes were lightly grinding. Cold maceration occurs within 5 days. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats with pizhazhem. Wine stand for eighteen months in new French oak barrels.

Altair Vineyards and Winery - a joint venture Laurent Dassudi, (Chateau Dassault from Saint-Emilion) and the winery San Pedro Vinas, is the third largest wine producer in Chile.
