Achara Osobaya is a traditional high-quality Abkhaz chacha, a drink that is part of the original Abkhaz culture. Chacha is made by distilling fermented grape marc and wine. The drink has a delicate floral aroma with notes of fresh grapes and a soft, pleasant taste. Carefully selected raw materials and strict production control allows you to create a high quality product. According to the recipe, Chacha "Achara" Special does not undergo aging in barrels.
Chachu is recommended to drink slowly, savoring every sip. It is used from ordinary glasses. Due to its composition, chacha helps to increase appetite. According to winemakers, a glass of this drink is a great way to warm up on a cold winter evening.
Producer's description
The winemaking enterprise "Chateau Abkhaz" is located in Abkhazia, in the village of Alakhadzykh, near the resort town of Pitsunda. The company's activities were started in 2008. The company's production territory occupies more than 8 hectares; 5 facilities with a full production cycle have been built on it. A lot of work was done before the plant was launched. The planting of the first grape and fruit plantations was preceded by a thorough study of the terroir. The uniqueness of the Pitsunda terroir became the starting point for the construction of a powerful and modern enterprise in Abkhazia. Vineyards and orchards with an area of more than 400 hectares are located near Pitsunda and Ochamchira. For planting, grape seedlings of European varieties were purchased: Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Verdejo, Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Carignano, as well as seedlings of Georgian grape varieties: Saperavi and Rkatsiteli. They laid the foundation for quality and gave rise to high-tech production of still and sparkling wines. In addition, the plant produces strong and low-alcohol drinks, beer, mineral water and fresh fruit lemonades. The first products came off the enterprise’s assembly line in 2011.
Modern equipment and the experience of specialists invited from different countries ensure high quality products. For the production and bottling of drinks, the latest technological equipment of leading European companies is used - the famous Italian brand "ItalTechnologi" and the German "Kaspar Shult" and "Krones". All drinks are produced on the basis of high-quality, pure water extracted from an artesian well in the Bzyb River basin, located on the territory of the enterprise, 180 and 240 meters deep, and other exclusively natural ingredients and raw materials.
Today, the company’s products are well known and have proven themselves well not only in Abkhazia, but also far beyond the borders of the republic.
