Wine "Papale", which translated from Italian means "Papal", devoted to the election and the election of the three contenders for the supreme post of the Catholic Church Pope Benedict XIII, held in 1724. Pope himself was originally from Puglia, and if possible always preferred quality wine with "their" native land.
Used for the production of wine grapes Primitivo grown in the southern province of Taranto, near the Ionian Sea.
