Wine Uggiano, "Petraia", Toscana IGT, 2009
The wine is an intense ruby-red color.
The wine shows a full, rounded flavor with elegant notes of fresh dark fruit, pleasant tannins and a long, seductive finish.
An expressive, charming aroma of the wine is filled with tones of ripe red fruit, spice and oak.
The wine will be an excellent couple of meat on the grill, venison, pasta and mature cheeses.
"Petraia" - a harmonious, full of wine, created to give pleasure. In its manufacture winemakers used grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which grow in the vineyards in Tuscany Azienda Uggiano. Harvesting is done by hand, berry immediately recover the winery. After vinification, passing a strict temperature control, the wine is aged in the first 6 months of French oak barrels and then 10-12 months in large oak barrels. Wine "Petraia" recommended to decant one hour before serving.
