Traslanzas winery was created from several winemakers - Ana Martin and Mary Pinacho in 1998 to manufacture and sale of quality wine from grapes grown within the region Cigales. Winemaking in the region has a long tradition, historically associated with the production of rose wine. However, despite the potential of these wines, the emphasis is on the black grape varieties. Excellent climatic conditions help to create wines with all the necessary features for today's market demands - the structure, length, elegance and individuality. Weather conditions in 2002 were extremely difficult. Of the total crop was selected grapes that match the quality Traslanzas. After the process of alcoholic fermentation for three weeks the wine was placed in new oak barrels, where the malolactic fermentation. Wine is not subject to any form of stabilization. In the bottle of wine was spilled Traslanzas in December 2003, and the sale will go only in 2006, as soon as reasonably well developed within two years. This year produced 14,200 bottles of wine.
