In the early XX century, companies merge and Tetenzhe Fournet, who came from Lorraine, who take control of the production of sparkling wines. Pierre Tetenzhe in 1932 acquires Chateau Marketter, XVIII century mansion, known for its vineyards, which were planted with Chardonnay and Pinot. Pierre decided that Chardonnay is the dominant brand in Tetenzhe, bringing lightness, grace, elegance and variety of flavors.

Produced House Tetenzhe champagnes fairly quickly acquired the status of great wines. On the label of each bottle emblazoned coat of arms Thibault IV.
