According to legend, the city of Vila Regia in the Douro was founded by one of the kings. Vila Regia Reserva - classic red wine from the Douro, has rich fruit flavors inherent in the wines of the region. This wine is produced in a modern plant in Villa Real in the Douro region, in the north of Portugal. For its production using local grape varieties: Tinta Baroque Turiga Frank and Turiga Nacional grown in the vicinity of Vila Regia. Harvested by hand in September. In 1942, Fernando Van Zeller Guedes with partners founded the company "Sociedade Comercial dos Grandes Vinhos de Mesa de Portugal", which is now known as "Sogrape Vinhos".
