Wine Silvio Grasso, "Pi Vigne", Barolo DOCG, 2004
Wine of deep plum color.
The wine has a strong, well-balanced, full bodied with a fragrant acidity, bright notes of earth, tones of black fruit, hints of tar, underbrush, spices and mushrooms. The finish is long, juicy, mineral and spicy.
The aroma of wine, first subtle, as aeration slowly reveals the dark tones of plum, red rose, orange peels, shokoloda, resins, spices, leather, licorice and tea, highlighted by earthy hues.
The wine is recommended to serve the rich, full-bodied and spicy dishes.
