Wine Sichel, Graves, 2011
Wine has a light golden color.
The taste of wine is fresh and open, perfectly balanced, soft enough, with rich notes of lemon.
Aromatic bouquet of wine is rather complicated, with hints of citrus, pineapple and bergamot, which are complemented by nuances of toast.
The wine is excellent as an aperitif, suitable for oysters, seafood dishes, poultry, white meat and soft cheeses.
Sichel, Graves, 2011 - a dry white wine, which was used for the manufacture of grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Vineyards farms are located on well-drained soils with sand content. One-third of the must is placed in barrels for fermentation and then aged in oak barrels. The remaining two-thirds is fermented and aged in stainless steel vats on the thin sludge. The wine is bottled after 7 months of age.
Company Sichel (Sishel) was founded back in 1883, when the family moved to Bordeaux Sishel, and decided to take her head negotsiantskim business (before the family traveled a lot throughout Europe).
Great-grandson of the founder, the Englishman Peter Sishel, arrived in Bordeaux in 1960 and 12 years later he was elected President of the Association of Wine Merchants Bordeaux in 1972. Finally, Peter founded in Bordeaux after meeting with his wife Diane. One of the important achievements of Peter was the restoration of the old estates in Margaux, Chateau d'Angludet, acquired in 1961. In addition, he was a major shareholder of Chateau Palmer , in which in 1938 made considerable investment by his father - Allan Sishelem and three other families. Peter gained fame as one of the most respected people in Bordeaux; in fact, he was one of the first wine merchant, who became the winemaker.
Now the name of Peter Sishelya known around the world, primarily due to its strategy of combining tradition and modern technology. The main principles on which is built the whole activity of the company Sichel as follows:
