Sacred - is a small distillery, which is located in Highgate, London. Sacred history - a history of ingenuity, know-how and a true British creativity, a vivid example of how a person is not associated with winemaking, but fascinated by the idea can create a truly unique and quality product. The factory was founded Ian Hart in 2009, who became interested in wine in their spare time. His research and experiments in this field are based on ancient recipes XVIII century Dutch missionary father Matthaus set out in the encyclopedia. Name Sacred (Holy) at the same time actually comes from the name of one of the herbal ingredients used to create gin - incense (its other name - Boswellia Sacra).
In contrast to the traditional method of distillation in copper pot stills, ingredients for drinks Sacred vacuum distilled in glass flasks that more closely resembles the process in the chemical laboratory. Each of the herbal components separately distilled, the final product is separated into fractions using extremely low temperatures and is then mixed to create a final composition. The whole process of working on it to get a drink from the "lush", fresh taste. Technical features do not allow you to create products in large quantities, although Ian Hart is currently working on this problem.
