Wine "Rubiolo" Chianti Classico is made from Sangiovese grapes with a small addition of Merlot. Grapes grown in a small area at a height of 450-480 meters above sea level on the marl soils of medium texture. Planting density is 5,000 vines per hectare, yield - 4500 kg per hectare. Harvested by hand in small boxes. Maceration and fermentation under controlled temperature take 15-18 days. Extract of wine is carried out in two or three years of French oak barrels (1/3), wooden vats (1/3) and steel tanks (1/3). After bottling the wine matures in bottles with strict thermal control for at least 3 months. Wine storage potential is 3-5 years.
Gagliole - a small country with an ancient history dating back to 994 AD, which is its magnificent scenery with cypress trees and ancient terraces expresses all the beauty of Tuscany. The magic of this place is so "capture" of the Swiss Bankers Bёra Thomas and his wife - Monica galeristka that they decided to stay here. In 1990, they bought a Gagliole 30 hectares of vineyards spread over 8 hectares. Their love for good wines has become a real passion. Gagliole Vineyards located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level in the south and south-western exposure. Age of vines is diverse and ranges from 3 to 30 years.
