The wine has a scent with notes of ripe fruit and a hint of smoke.
Wine is perfect for the fish grilled, marinated or cooked in wine sauce and smoked fish - salmon, trout, eel, scallops, turbot, salmon. In Alsace wine is traditionally served with goose, beef, pork or chicken.
