Beer brewed in the town of Rakovnik always, but the official start date of brewing in the city is considered to be in 1454. At that time, the city's main square stood 5 breweries, which serves 17 malt. In 1454 King Ladislav officially recognizes beer from Rakovnik, complaining the city so-called "right-mile", in which citizens could freely sell their products "at a distance of one mile of the city gates."
In the years 1588-1589 in Rakovnik lived a highly Bachelor Jiri spikes Pisetsky, who was the director of the local school, was very fond of beer and was well versed in brewing.
