Tasting Notes


Wine of deep ruby ​​color with garnet reflections.


Seductive, well-structured wine has an elegant taste with a smooth texture and long stringy finish.


Complex aroma of wine presented copious notes of dark cherry and wild berries, underlined the nuances of white pepper and pipe tobacco. At the end of the bouquet appear shades of dark chocolate and fresh mint.


Wine is served to the Italian dishes, poultry, red meats, aged cheeses.

Dry red wine "Coparossa" is made ​​from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the vineyards and villages Neive Treiso, whose soils are composed of tuff, blue clay, limestone and gravel. Wine "Coparossa" used berries collected from 25 and 35-year-old vines. Vinification takes place in steel tanks for 7-10 days. For aging wine, which takes about 16-18 months, used French oak barrels, 50% of which - the new, and 50% - the second and third use. Wine storage capacity - up to 2020.

At the winery Rabaja di Bruno Rocca has its own special, filled with a family history of events. Rocca family connected with the land, the owners of which they are now since the late 1950s. Then the father Bruno - Francesco Rocca and his wife Maria Adelaide moved from the center of Barbaresco in Rabaya, where they bought a part of the vineyard. For them, this event meant a step towards something new and bright, that will ensure their future. Growing up in this land Bruno learned to feel the character and soul of the land of vineyards, gradually sinking into the secrets of winemaking. Modern farm has 15 hectares of vineyards that stretch along the village of Barbaresco. Recently, the family also acquired 4 hectares of land in the area of ​​Curro.
