The taste of wine is fresh, medium fullness, rounded, with good structure and balance, shades of yellow pear and white peach, citrus overtones and notes of honeysuckle in a stable aftertaste.

Wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown on three plots of the vineyard "Le Pyusel": "Le Clos du Meix", "La Grande", "La Petite". Category at the prestigious Premier Cru vineyards are used exclusively biodynamic cultivation methods. They are based on the thesis that "we must not feed the plant and soil." Therefore, winemakers Domain Leflaive completely abandoned the use of any chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Soil fertilized only organic fertilizers and fertilizatorami that enrich it with nutrients, without disturbing the natural balance. Harmony of nature and the cosmos provides a rich, healthy harvest, collection which is installed manually. Applying the berries gentle pressing, the juice is subjected to a long aeration, saturating it with oxygen during the day. The fermentation process is carried out in oak barrels, 22% of which - new. The wine takes place in the same barrels and is about a year, and then another six months the wine is kept in stainless steel, preparing it for bottling.

The family business was founded Domaine Leflaive in 1717 by Claude Leflaive in a small area of Puligny-Montrachet. Inherited the company switched Joseph Leflaive (1870-1953), who was a naval engineer. In 1905, most of the vineyards of Burgundy affected by phylloxera epidemic and were put up for sale. Joseph cheaply purchased 25 acres, which soon became a beautiful winery Domaine Leflaive. Since 1920, Joseph Leflaive started to produce wine under its own brand, known all over the world excellent quality and taste.
