Vino Primo Rosso line of "Primo" is made from two grape varieties - Syrah and Carignano. Both varieties are grown on land Sulcis, on the south-west region of Sardinia. The climate - Mediterranean, characterized by low rainfall, unevenly distributed throughout the year, part of the north-westerly winds, high temperatures in spring and summer and winters, tossed from cold dry to soft. Soils are sandy clay and lime-rich, medium texture, with plenty of mineral elements.
Syrah is going in early September, and Carignano - in mid-September. After gathering the grapes undergoes a soft pressing. Maceration on the skins lasts 10 days, after which 50% of the wine is aged in oak barrels and half matured in stainless steel tanks for a few months. After bottling, the wine is kept for at least 2 months.
