Tasting Notes


The wine is light straw yellow color with a greenish glow.


Powerful, well-balanced wine with a stressed dry taste, refreshing acidity and bright shades of bitter almonds in a long aromatic finish.


Elegant, rich bouquet of the wine reveals sweet notes of vanilla, followed by a variety of overtones of fruit aromas, including exotic notes of grapefruit and pineapple.


The wine is recommended to serve with white meat, seafood, fish dishes and cream cheese.

"Vigna Santa Margherita" Vernaccia di San Gimignano, 2012 - white dry wine produced in the fertile lands of Tuscany. To create a wine using grapes Vernaccia, which is grown and harvested from a site name - St. Margaret's vineyard. Giovanni Panizzi, being a native of Lombardy, first came to Tuscany at the age of 12 years. Junior Giovanni forever in love with Tuscany: its nature, the fertility of the earth, colors, scents, Sunrises and sunsets and, of course, people. In 1979 Giovanni bought the estate of Santa Margarita, located just outside the walls of San Gimignano - a small ancient town, the famous white wine from grapes Vernaccia. After years of experimentation, hard work and dedication of this, in 1989 Panizzi produced the first bottle of wine. From that time to this day at the winery uses innovative, revolutionary and innovative production techniques, as well as carefully preserved ancient traditions and secrets of creating the famous Tuscan wines.
