"Bold Nelson" - a summer bitter double IPA with an unusual aroma, which traces the tones of gooseberry and white wine, and a vivid taste with a powerful bitterness of 100 IBU. In the recipe for ale is the New Zealand hop of the Nelson Sovin variety and the English malt Extra Pale made from barley of the Maris Otter variety. This barley was bred specifically for the needs of the brewing industry in 1966 year. Maris Otter has a low nitrogen content. From it, malt of the highest quality is produced, appreciated by craft breweries all over the world. Despite the bitterness and richness, "Bald Nelson" is excellent drink and fully deserves the name "summer DIPA".
A small Ostrovica brewery is located in Asha, Chelyabinsk region. Eugene Balyklov and his two sons, Vsevolod and Anton, in 2014 decided to found a family enterprise that fully reveals the traditional Czech traditions of brewing. On the original equipment brought from the Czech Republic, in 2014 they welded the first Czech pilsner. The whole process of making beer, beginning with the choice of ingredients and ending with bottling, is strictly controlled by leading specialists of the company.
Brewers honor family traditions and adhere to a healthy lifestyle, therefore it is not surprising that Ostrovitsa is the official partner of FC Metallurg (Asha).
