Domain Jean hryvnia dates back to the late 18th century, when Joseph hryvnia organized wine company in a place called Vosne-Romanée, and his son Gaston took up the development of production. Gaston hryvnia was also one of the first oenologist who graduated from the University of Dijon, where he later studied his son Jean. Together they were able to celebrate wine hryvnia to the whole world. Today the company owns Clos de Vougeot plot area of 1.87 hectares, which was acquired by Gaston hryvnia in 1919, as well as another plot of Grand Cru Class in Rishenburge. Today the company is headed by Etienne hryvnia, who studied winemaking and viticulture in Bonn, as well as an intern in various regions of France and California. Analyzing the obtained knowledge, Etienne hryvnia concluded that the quality wines of the estate can be raised to a new level, so today focuses on the balance of the soil, harvest dates, temperatures during fermentation, aging in oak - everything that can provide a richness and fullness of flavor , long storage capacity and transfer uniqueness of the terroir of Burgundy.
