The basis of the blend are 3 varieties - Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz and Turiga Frank collected from old vineyards whose age is 60-120 years, Quinta de Napoles and Pina at an altitude of 100-400 meters above sea level. 2009 differed ideal climatic conditions, so the manual harvesting was carried out on time - in September. After careful selection of the double in the vineyards and winery, berries without ridges fermented partly in stainless steel, partially in granite "lagaresah" - the container in which the grapes crushed legs, which is considered the most effective way of extracting the maximum components of the thin-skinned berries. 60% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels, and 40% - in 2000-liter oak vats for 21 months.
