"Les Vieux Clos", 2004 - wine of exceptional depth and density, which is not very typical for the base wine region Savennieres in the Loire Valley. Chenin Blanc grapes for this wine comes from vineyards covering about 12 hectares, which are eastern exposure. The soils in the region are full of crystalline quartz and sand. The average age of the vines - about 20 years. The wine is produced with minimal interference. Fermentation is carried out solely on natural yeasts and without temperature control. 20% of the wine malolactic fermentation takes place. For aging for 8 months used oak barrels ovoid.
