Wine Nero Conti Dzekka made from grapes from the vineyard, the oldest and largest company in Salento, which covers an area of about 190 hectares. Here are cultivated varieties of "Negroamaro", "primitive" and "Malvasia Nero", imported to these lands in the VII - VIII centuries BC. Grapes goes destemming and gentle pressing. Then comes the turn of the fermentation and maceration for 15 days in stainless steel at t 28-30 ° C. Then comes the holding for 18 months in new barriques. Winery Conti Zecca, located in Puglia (IT. Puglia) has five centuries of history with a rich tradition, passion and innovation that have made her one of the most important wine producers in Apulia. Neapolitan family Dzekka (Zecca) moved to Italy in 1500, where he began farming on his own estates. The family business has evolved over the centuries, and in 1935 Count Dzekka Alcibiades, who was endowed with courage and entrepreneurial abilities, decided to start the production of wine from their own vineyards. The wine cellar was built in Leverano, and this city has become one of the most important areas of the food in Puglia and South Italy.
After World War II, the son of Alcibiades, Count Giuseppe, introduced new technology of growing grapes and wine production began bottling wine in the bottle.
