In the line "Single Hop Series" from the brewery Mikkeller includes several varieties of beer brewed in the style of American IPA and 6.9% have a fortress. In 2006, mathematics and physics teacher Mikkel Borg Bergso with his friend Christian Keller began experimenting in his kitchen in Copenhagen with hops, malt and yeast. The first experiment was the manufacture of friends "clone" of the Danish beer Brøckhouse IPA. The result of their work friends brought their favorite beer club where they created a beer won a blind test. This inspired friends, they began to create their own recipes and have won several medals on home brewing competitions at the national Danish beer festival.
