The first experiment was the manufacture of friends "clone" of the Danish beer Brøckhouse IPA. The result of their work friends brought their favorite beer club where they created a beer won a blind test. This inspired friends, they began to create their own recipes and have won several medals on home brewing competitions at the national Danish beer festival. Kitchen experiments lasted two and a half years, after which it was opened Mikkeller production on a large scale. In 2007, Keller left his friend and began work as an editor of the Danish music magazine Soundvenue. Mikkel also went on his way. Today he brews beer for the best and most prestigious restaurants in Denmark, is working with US distributors, and exports its products to 40 different countries.
