Tasting Notes


The wine has an intense ruby-cherry color.


Dense, full-bodied wine, made in the traditional style of Barolo, has a stable, long taste with notes of sweet, ripe, juicy red fruit and spicy tannins.


Eucalyptus, balsamic, black cherry, tobacco and licorice - typical varietal notes of Barolo, fascination, bright and deep flavor of the wine.


The wine goes well with hearty, with red roasted meats, pasta with Bolognese sauce and mature cheeses.

Red wine monosortovoe "Pressenda" created from grapes Nebiollo growing at sites in Castellet - district in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont. Marziano Abbona winery owns in the area is small, only three hectares, the vineyard. The average age of the vines - 34 years. The density of planting - 5000 units per hectare, giving about 70 quintals of grapes per year. Fermentation takes place in rotating macerator.
