The wine has an intense and complex bouquet of fragrant notes of blackberry and blueberry notes, shades of damp earth and licorice.
Wine is perfect for red meat and game, as well as moderately spicy cheese.
Dry red wine "Istrico", made from grapes Sangiovese goes well with meat dishes and moderately sharp cheeses. Grown in the cool climate vineyards in the area of Montecucco, Sangiovese has good acidity and characteristic notes of mint and ripe fruit. Grape passes spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel and maceration for 14 days. After malolactic fermentation in steel tanks, the wine is bottled and aged for six months. In some years before bottling the wine matures in 3-4 months in barrels. Wine storage capacity is 8-10 years.
