Aging wine Laurona Montsant occurs within 12 months in 500 liter oak barrels, most of which are new. This process adds an excellent wine tannins and incomparable complexity. Before serving, decanting is recommended.
Founded in 1999, the company is a joint project Laurona Christopher Cannan, who is the owner of parallel Europvin, and Rene Barbier , owner of the famous winery Clos Mogador Priorat in. Origin of the name Laurona goes back to the days of ancient Rome, when mentioned in chronicles vineyard Laurona.
